Mary Rose
Mary joined NEKO in spring 2020 to define and drive forward the vision of the charity’s founder, Glen Rowe.
Trained as an actor and having toured extensively in the UK and US, Mary went on to hold senior management roles in arts and media including General Manager at The Old Vic and Executive Director at Tramshed. Mary was also Project Manager at Channel 4 where she progressed the Arts Council-funded expansion of short film strand Random Acts which promoted contemporary creativity and developed 16-24 year old talent. In addition to her day job, Mary is Board Member of Moving The Needle which supports women through the music industry, and Woolwich Works, London’s newest creative district.
She brings her experience in charity management, governance and fundraising combined with a passion for talent development, improving social mobility and facilitating participation in music and the arts for people from all socio-economic backgrounds.
